bcc: Portfolio
I'm working with several "clients" at this time, designing, posting and maintaining their web sites and helping to get their message or product across to their fans, clients, or the general audience out there.
Here's a list, with links to their web sites:
Jennifer Goodenberger
Jennifer is a friend and an amazing talent. She does fiber art, plays piano, teaches piano, composes music, and has great insights into patterns, sounds and healing.
Nancy Merrill
Nancy is a friend from Seattle, and an accomplished artist and Tree Stewardess. Her latest project is raising chickens.
Astor Street Opry Company (ASOC)
Known for their original production Shanghaied in Astoria, this community theater troupe has also recently performed The Passion of Dracula, Godspell, and The Prisoner of Second Avenue. The just completed New Works Festival drew scripts from all over the country. ASOC also produces children's theater, with a junior version of Shanghaied and the recently performed Once Upon A Shoe as examples. ASOC will sponsor an Oregon community theater conference in March 2010. (Disclosure: I've been in several of the above plays.)
HIPFiSH
This free, local, monthly, alternative newspaper has been around the coast for decades, featuring the arts, food, alternative medicine, sustainability, and LGBT issues. (Disclosure: I write for HIPFiSH.)
Oregon Institute for Peace, Spiritual Development and Community Transformation (Oregon Institute)
This fledging organization hopes to set up shop on the coast of Oregon and hold classes & events, and provide an infrastructure for alternative practitioners of all stripes. The web site also includes a publication clearinghouse that will allow writers to submit individual articles and stories, and sell them using an iTunes Store-like interface.
Classic Bodywerks
This frame, body and paint shop is located in Jeffers Gardens. I'm just starting to put together their new web site.
