We further believe that childhood sexual violence is rooted in the misuse of power and is an oppressive form of abusive power. Therefore, we believe that the elimination of childhood sexual abuse is linked with the elimination of all other forms of oppression, whether local or global such as sexism, racism, classism, anti-semitism and homophobia.
