Number Search Puzzle Builder

Number Search is a combination of a word search type grid of numbers and crossword puzzle style clues. The Number Search Puzzle Builder lets anyone build these types of puzzles – using a form that allows you to specify a grid or build one randomly, and then choose numbers from the grid horizontally, vertically or diagonally and design clues that have that number as a result. The clue generation part of the form also includes the ability for the computer to suggest clues — phone numbers, addresses, dates, area codes, calendar history, geometry, arithmetic, calculus, fun facts, and more –– that you can edit for your puzzle. Finally, the builder allows you to download an HTML file that can serve as the actual puzzle, which you can send to whoever you want to work that puzzle. The clue suggestion part of the builder is still under development, and there will soon be a publication with several generated number search puzzles for public enjoyment.
